Maysteel's EL100 Series Apparatus Enclosures are designed and manufactured to provide an aesthetically pleasing and safe means of housing all types of equipment at ground level. The modular design provide versatility and flexibility with a wide range of sizes that are easily ganged together. Optional equipment add-ons are also available.

The applications of the EL100 Series are virtually unlimited. They can be used for effective utilization of overhead transformers, a safe means of providing primary metering, low-cost housing of gas regulators or as space-saving capacitor enclosures. Five standard single unit sizes ranging from 42"D X 42"W X 53"H up to 54"D X 54"W X 91"H. Standard consists of single, double and triple bay units. Special four or more bay units available upon request.

Finish specifications:

  • Munsell green (7GY 3.29 / 1.5) to blend in with surroundings. Alternative colors available upon request.
  • Durable powder paint finish exceeds ANSI paint finish guidelines

Construction and design features:

  • Standard units are constructed of sturdy 14 or 12-gauge mild steel. Alternative material in mild steel with zinc rich primer, marine grade aluminum and stainless steel for various environmental conditions available upon request.
  • Easy accessibility with doors front and back
  • Captive door holder for convenient accessibility.
  • Domed roof for water run-off
  • Non-ferrous fastening hardware for increase durability.

Safety and security features:

  • Tamper-proof louvers designed for maximum ventilation
  • Two point latching with hasp and penta-head bolt or three point latching with padlockable handle and penta-head bolt.

Typically shipped unassembled for handling and logistics convenience.
