CableCad version 4.0 is a high performance automated mapping and facilities management through geographic information systems (known as AM/FM/GIS) software solution that integrates spatial, connectivity, graphic and attribute data into a single database. Its new Windows GUI look and feel interface combined with a number of key enhancements has made this a major upgrade for users. Users can now utilize Windows GUI creation of user defined banners, pull-down and cascade menus, call active X components, print using Windows drivers and insert more than 27 new Raster file formats into drawings. The manufacturer has also invigorated the Windows dialog boxes, including file operations, reference drawing insertion and Raster image insertion.
