Kamstrup Joins eMeter's Alliance Program

Kamstrup and eMeter, A Siemens Business, Partner to Offer Interoperable Solutions to Advance eMeter’s Smart Grid Ecosystem

San Mateo, CA, and Skanderborg, Denmark - Kamstrup recently announced they are joining the eMeter Alliance Program as an Integrated Meter Data Management Technology and Developer Partner. Together, Kamstrup and eMeter, A Siemens Business, will collectively develop and sell integrated solutions for utility Smart Grid systems.

The eMeter integrated Smart Grid ecosystem empowers eMeter’s partners with the technology and support necessary to integrate their solutions with the EnergyIP meter data management information platform.

“We have already seen a lot of interest from different markets for a combined eMeter/Kamstrup solution. With the new partnership, utilities will benefit from a standard integration between eMeter’s highly scalable and feature rich solution and Kamstrup’s high-performing AMI – based on proven, wireless technology and quality components designed and manufactured in Denmark” said Henrik Baek Joergensen, Senior Product Manager for Smart Grid at Kamstrup.

eMeter’s integrated Smart Grid partner ecosystem provides utilities with interoperable Smart Grid solutions based on industry standards and best practices, improving the integration process and lowering the total cost of ownership. eMeter and Kamstrup will give each other access to a suite of web services and support including API’s, sample code, demo software licenses and testing programs. Kamstrup and eMeter also put its support desks and technical expertise at partners’ full disposal.
