The Little Glass House combines the elements necessary to ensure the long-term viability of a network server
Liebert Corporation a division of Emerson Network PowerGlass House combines the elements necessary to ensure the long-term viability of a network server -- without the expense of a dedicated computer room, according to the company. The lockable enclosure protects equipment from dust and dirt and tampering, while the system-matched Uninterruptible Power Supply and air conditioner ensure proper power and temperature. Built-in cable management raceways simplify wiring for both rackmount or shelf-mounted equipment. Cabinets are available in heights of 78 or 72 in., depths of 38 or 34 in., and widths of 19 or 24 in. With optional SiteNet SNMP Integrator and SiteNet communications software, the enclosure becomes an intelligent network peripheral, capable of monitoring conditions and initiating pre-set actions when problems arise.

Applications include mission-critical LAN and WAN servers, network equipment, office PBX systems, e-mail, voicemail and other communications systems, telecommunications equipment, building control or process control systems, Internet access and site management systems.

Features include:

  • Lockable, heavy-duty enclosure for system security
  • Built-in air conditioning with back-up cooling system for environmental protection
  • Power protection and battery back-up via built-in Liebert UPStation GXT on-line UPS.
  • Simplified wire entrance and management
  • Shipped ready for roll-in and plug-in
  • Easy clustering of units accommodates additional growth
