The Hands-On Electrical Troubleshooting Classes teaches troubleshooting techniques of motor control circuits and components that both the novice and experienced technicians will utilize. Students build actual circuits that are commonly used in industry, then the instructor introduces realistic faults that the student troubleshoots. Students are asked to repair the circuit using what they have learned. This course will improve the technician's troubleshooting skills, making them more productive members of a maintenance staff.

Hands-On Electrical Troubleshooting II is an advanced course that exposes participants to many circuits that are common in industry today. The students work from diagrams that represent common industrial uses, such as a tank fill control, a duplex-pump control, and a punch press anti-tie-down. Once the ladder diagrams are constructed, the circuits are assembled. The instructor then inserts a realistic fault into the circuit. The student troubleshoots the circuit using the techniques that are discussed in class.
