Generator Set Start Module 24 Volt form Caterpillar
The Generator Set Start Module from Caterpillar provides up to 1725 cold cranking amps at 24 VDC to assist and backup a generator set's starting batteries. Redundant starting power is supplied directly from the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) output, providing a healthy and continuous power source that does not require replacement. The Cat® Generator Set Start Module features diode coupling that allows for battery paralleling and the best source selection, with auto resetting thermal protection and an AC disconnect. The unit offers remote status contact, is rated for 10 crank cycles, and can be wall or floor-mounted in indoor and outdoor environments.
