JOINT CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

From the onset, our Applications Department, together with Engineering support and the customer's project team, engage in extensive evaluation of the project - nothing is left to chance:
  • Process are studied
  • Timing charts are developed
  • Prototyping, modeling and simulation will ensure ultimate system performance with no surprises upon completion.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

A dedicated mechnical engineering team assisted by a Project Manager participate in a concurrent engineering environment with the customer and other internal team memebers until the concept is approved. Information is shared through our Internet and Video Conferencing, ensuring clarity, timely decision-making and cost effectiveness. To ensure design integrity, design reviews are conducted and then approved by all team members.

CONTROLS ENGINEERING

The dedicated controls tems also participates throughout the project. Control logic is developed and then programmed in various machine languages to support applications such as vision systems and machine motion. Product statistical data can be captured and stored in a centralized database for easy retrieval. Data that can be tracked includes process faults, dimensional analysis, datee and place of manufacture, warranty and parts, troubleshooting and service information.

CONCURRENT ENGINEERING

Mid-West provides the overall orchestration of the project by parsing the project into its core competencies to keep specific focus on key project issues. Concurrently, we then work with the customer, concentrating on product issues such as product design, value analysis, or process implementation while Mid-West assumes the responsibilities associated with the machine design. This method assures that a transparent integration of your product manufacturing processes occus as changes are simultaneously incorporated into the system design foundation.
