Emergency AC Power System
The inverter converts DC voltage supplied by the battery to AC voltage of stabilized amplitude and frequency suitable for powering electronic ballasts, power factor corrected ballasts, and self-ballasted fluorescent lamps and incandescent lighting. Upon interruption of normal utility AC power or brownout conditions exceeding 15% drop from nominal voltage, the microprocessor activates the transfer relay to the inverter output. Emergency power will be provided for a minimum of 90 minutes or until utility power is restored.
The system's microprocessor continuously monitors entire unit status; system status and emergency readiness are indicated on the display panel. The standard digital display allows direct readouts of AC input and output voltages, system load current, battery voltage and battery current. It also provides monitoring and control, audible alarms, LED indicators, digital display, and a system test switch.
