Bottom Logic is an under-tank cathodic protection system that combines cathodic protection, external leak detection, and in situ leak control for enhanced security of the tank bottom. This approach to tank protection can be retrofitted while the tank is in service or designed into any new tank construction.
Impressed current anodes properly placed horizontally directly below the tank bottom provide optimal corrosion control, with uniform current distribution, controlled current density, lower operating costs and reduced stray current interference problems. Cathodic protection materials are installed in the manufacturer's exclusive VersaPipe system. In the event of a product release, the pipe can then be utilized for leak containment and soil remediation.
