Cable Locator and Tracer

The model HEG-3000T secondary cable fault locator incorporates multi-functionality with ease of use, in a highly portable package. This system uses Earth Gradient technology to locate faults on an unshielded, insulated cable. With this product, the locator and tracer are incorporated in one unit. The unit is a time saver with alligator clip connections to cables, and an easy to read earth gradient detector that quickly shows direction to fault. It reduces damage to cable to almost nothing with its automatic voltage control. This feature allows the unit to operate at only enough voltage to breakdown the fault. The feature not only protects the cable but the operator and appliance circuits as well.
