System-1 BTU meters are computerized electronic systems that evaluate temperature and flow data from sensing devices and compute and display the quantity of heat transferred by a hydronic heating or cooling loop. The data from the sensors can also be displayed in various combinations to suit individual needs. The meters are presently in use in solar generators, cogeneration plants, and district heating and cooling installations. Typical uses include metering and sub-metering heat energy distribution from central heaters and chillers, efficiency evaluations, performance monitoring for maintenance, and process control. Features include:
8-in. x10-in. x 4-in. steel NEMA 13 enclosure with wall mounting bracket
Pre-punched conduit holes with filler plugs
6 digit electromechanical BTU totalizing register
Customer selection of totalizer units
120 VAC operation
Power indicator light
Terminal blocks with self-rising clamps
Built-in zero calibrator
Open drain output switch
Photo-isolated output switch
