The system runs on a Microsoft NT platform using Microsoft SQL Server as the database engine. This provides a multipurpose network OS that offers dependable file and print services, while producing the architecture to run powerful client/server applications efficiently across multiple environments.

Pro-Watch NT is fully compliant with the Microsoft graphical user interface standards, with the look and feel of the software being that of a standard Windows application. It also runs as a Microsoft BackOffice certified background service of Windows NT, not just an application on top of the NT operating system.
