Texas Could Surpass Illinois In Producing Electricity From Nuclear Power

Illinois currently is believed to be the leader in producing electricity from nuclear power in the U.S. with eleven operating nuclear generating units and a generation capacity of over 11,500 megawatts of nuclear generation. But if developers have their way, Texas could triple nuclear generation capacity to more than 16,000 megawatts.
