Customers Will Drive The Future Of Aclara At Upcoming Client Conference

Sales presentations continue to take a back seat to customer requirements at the annual Aclara Client Conference to be held April 27-30 at the Renaissance Hotel and Suites in St. Louis, where an estimated 500 Aclara utility customers will join together to drive the future of advanced metering infrastructure. They will network with their peers and industry colleagues, learn about Aclara products and solutions, and guide and educate Aclara on their wants and needs in this ever-advancing industry.
"As the name states, this is the clients' conference – this is not a sales conference," states Steve Carrico, retired executive of Wisconsin Public Service and current Aclara Client Conference planning team chairman. "Aclara uses this venue to listen to their customers talk about the products, how they use them, what fixes need to be made, and how Aclara can better design products in the future. With this information, Aclara is better equipped to provide a better operating system."
The client conference brings Aclara customers together to train and enhance their skills at numerous technical sessions. Customers attending the conference are briefed on new developments with Aclara Software™ products, STAR® Network system, and TWACS® technology and are encouraged to provide feedback on these products and services.
